About Us

Why Libertas Mind?

Chronic stress — whether from pain or depression — causes profound, lasting changes that undermine a healthy nervous system’s ability to cope. Our medical system often isn’t built to address the root cause.

Libertas Mind is a pain medicine and mental health clinic in Clifton Park, NY, built around treatments that work with the brain’s natural ability to heal: neuroplasticity. Our treatments, including Spravato (esketamine), ketamine therapy, and stellate ganglion blocks (SGB), target neuroinflammation, support new synaptic connections, and make lasting recovery from trauma, depression, anxiety, and chronic pain possible.

We are dedicated to delivering advanced, evidence-based care to patients across the Capital District, including Albany, Schenectady, Clifton Park, and Saratoga County.

Our Approach

At Libertas Mind, care is collaborative. Our multidisciplinary team, combining anesthesiology, pain medicine, psychiatry, and nursing, builds a treatment plan tailored to each patient, whether you’re managing treatment-resistant depression, PTSD, anxiety, or chronic pain.

We use advanced neuromodulation techniques to help patients regain a life without limits.

Jason Steindler

Board-Certified in Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine

At Libertas Mind, I serve as both a provider and the founder of our compassionate, private, multi-specialty practice. My vision in creating Libertas was simple yet urgent: to bring advanced, evidence-based treatments to individuals who have not found relief with conventional approaches.

We specialize in innovative therapies such as Spravato® (esketamine) treatment, ketamine therapy, and stellate ganglion blocks (SGB) — interventions designed to enhance neuroplasticity, foster new connections in the brain, and ultimately support lasting healing.

Collaboration is at the heart of our work. We partner closely with your existing mental health team to ensure continuity of care and to maximize treatment success. Our focus is not only on symptom relief but on helping patients reclaim hope, resilience, and the possibility of recovery.

Major depression has become a global epidemic, and new approaches are desperately needed. At Libertas Mind, we are committed to offering advanced options when traditional treatments fail. Here, patients and providers alike can find a path forward — grounded in science, compassion, and the belief that there is always hope for recovery.
